A Fellowship of Needles, Threads, & Grace ๐๐งต
Looking for a cozy spot to craft, connect, and unwind? Whether you’ve been stitching for decades or are looking to pick up a hook or needle for the very first time, The Sacred Stitch welcomes you!
Originally started as a knitting group, our circle has grown into a warm, joyful gathering for all needlework and fiber arts. If it involves a needle, a hook, thread, or yarn, you belong here!
What We Do
- Craft & Connect: Feel free to bring your own ongoing project—knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross-stitch, needlepoint, or hand-sewing—and enjoy lively conversation and great company.
- Lend a Hand or Get Involved: Don't have a personal project right now? No problem! You can jump in and help us work on existing group projects like crafting cozy hats, prayer shawls, or warm winter accessories for community outreach. ๐งฃ
- Share & Learn: Got stuck on a pattern or want to learn a new technique? Our members love sharing tips, encouragement, and helping each other out. โค๏ธ
Who Can Join?
Everyone! ๐ Beginners, seasoned crafters, long-time church members, and neighbors from around the community are all warmly invited. No experience is necessary—we are always happy to help you get started on your first project or get you set up with one of ours.
Gathering Details ๐
- When: Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 am
- Where: The Office Conference Room
- What to Bring: Bring your own project of any kind of needle art, or just bring yourself to help with existing group projects (hats, shawls, and more!).
Have questions or want to get involved?
Contact Karen Fletcher or simply drop in during our next gathering. We can't wait to stitch with you! ๐๐
